Job opportunity: Full-Time Building Manager

BACKLIT Gallery is looking for a reliable, practical Building Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our building in the NG3 area.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in building operations or facilities management, who’s confident coordinating contractors, managing repairs and compliance, and supporting the install and pack-down of exhibitions and events.

Job Details

• Fixed‑term contract until March 2027
• 35 hours per week (Monday–Friday, occasional weekends)
• Start date: ideally February 2026
• Application deadline: Wednesday 21 January 2026

You’ll be the main point of contact for keeping the building safe, functional, and welcoming for artists, staff, and visitors.
