Backline Logistics are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for our client in Plymouth, Devon for a temporary to permanent position. This role is Monday to Friday 07:00am until 16:30pm, hours per week paid at £ per hour PAYE.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of two warehouse operatives and three drivers to ensure orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.
- Pick orders and safely operate a counter balance forklift.
- Route vehicles and conduct driver debriefs.
- Plan and delegate tasks accordingly.
Requirements:
- Previous experience supervising or managing a warehouse team.
- Up to date Forklift Certificate (Counter Balance) accredited by appropriate external body.
- Experience of vehicle routing and dealing with driver debriefs.
- Good understanding of warehouse KPIs and productivity measures.
