Join our team as an HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver! We're searching for enthusiastic HGV Class 2 HIAB Drivers to join our client in Poole, Dorset. Working for Backline is not just a job, it can be a career! Your responsibilities as an HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver:

  • Delivering and collecting products from customers, loading and unloading using the lorry-mounted crane.
  • Maintaining excellent customer service with a positive attitude.
  • Ensuring your vehicle is clean and the paperwork is completed.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with all transport legislation.
  • Demonstrating strong knowledge of the Dorset area and road network.

What we’re looking for:

  • Valid Category C / Class 2 Driving Licence.
  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Clean driving record (no more than 6 points, no DD/DR in the last 5 years).
  • Minimum 2 years' HGV Class 2 driving experience.
  • Experience using HIAB cranes.
  • Authorised to work in the UK.
  • Flexible attitude.
  • Own transportation (public transport may not be reliable).

  • Fixed Schedule: Day shifts – Mondays to Thursdays 06:00 – 14:30, Fridays 06:00 – 13:30 with some flexibility required as you may be asked to start earlier. Minimum 39 hours/week.
  • Competitive Salary: £18.66/hour PAYE with overtime paid at enhanced rates.
