We are looking for van drivers. You will be working for a variety of companies in Exeter and the surrounding areas including Cullompton, Crediton and Newton Abbot. You will require transport to get to assignments. It could be on a full time or part time basis to be flexible to your lifestyle. There will be some lifting on occasion and you will need good lieracy and numeracy skills for delivery paperwork. Some use of a handheld delivery pod may be used for some customers. Start times vary - Usually Monday to Friday although there could be some weekend work on offer occasionally. This role offers an exciting, varied working life with the opportunity to work for a variety of clients. Duties * Safely operate a van to deliver goods to various locations. * Load and unload items from the van, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. * Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any mechanical issues as necessary. * Communicate effectively with staff and customers regarding schedules and any potential delays. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption. * Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
