The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.

We have a position become available for a yard operative / relief 3.5T van driver starting in mid June. This is a temp to perm role. The role is primarily yard orientated; however, yard staff all have hybrid roles and are required to drive the vans to cover holidays / sickness etc. A telehandler license would be an advantage, although we can provide training if necessary. Lifting is required, so physical fitness is necessary. Monday to Friday 07.30-17.00. Wage on application dependant on experience.

Requirements

  • Valid Class B (van) Driving Licence
  • Telehandler licence an advantage
  • Less than 6 points
  • Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety practices
  • Some lifting required associated with yard work and loading vehicles
  • Good knowledge of UK road networks
  • A professional and positive attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Own transport to travel to work
  • Complete training as required
