We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 (Cat C) Dustcart Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to their designated locations. You will have alternating routes collecting recycling from 1100 Litre bins. You will mainly drive the 18t Dustcart; however, on occasion, you may be asked to drive the 3.5t Van. Shifts run Monday to Friday, starting at 04:00. This is an ongoing role and possible temp to perm for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Safely drive and operate the Dustcart
- Load, unload and move bins
- Perform vehicle inspections and record information as per company policy
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Class 2 (Cat C) Licence with no more than 6 points
- In date CPC and Digi Card
- Experience in commercial driving, preferably driving a Dustcart
- Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time collections
- Physically fit, as bins can be heavy
