Backline Logistics Plymouth are looking for 3.5t Van drivers to work for a range of distribution companies such as: Builder’s merchants, tyre deliveries, and/or parcel deliveries. General duties include but are not limited to: loading and unloading the vans, filling out relevant paperwork, and multi-drop of goods. This role is customer facing so previous experience of customer service is advantageous. The ideal candidate Previous experience of multi-drop, driving long wheel-based vans, and ratchet straps is highly advantageous. Typical shifts start from 07:00am onwards, Monday to Friday with a minimum of 8 hours of pay per day. Overtime available dependent on business needs. Full time and part time hours are available. THE REQUIREMENTS * You must hold a full UK 3.5t / Category B Licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points. * You must have had previous experience of driving 3.5t vans. * Possess a broad knowledge of driving rules and regulations. * Be clean and professional at all times. * Possess good written and spoken communication skills.
