Backline Logistics is looking for a Driver to work for various clients. You will be collecting and delivering various loads, the role may involve loading and unloading so a good level of fitness is required.
Driver duties include planning routes, loading and unloading and providing excellent customer service. To be considered for this role, you should have previous experience with driving and reliable transportation.
You should be able to follow directions as well as all safety rules. Ultimately, you are a member of the team that provides excellent customer service and helps them feel at ease while using our services.
You need transport due to working at a variety of clients in various locations.
Qualifications
Valid drivers licence
Responsibilities:
- Operate vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
- Maintain accurate records
- Perform daily vehicle checks
- Load and unload securely using ratchet straps and other methods
- Communicate with office and customers about deliveries
Requirements:
- You must hold a full UK Licence
- Good knowledge of the local area
- Clean and professional at all times
- Good written and spoken communication skills
- The ability to handball off large and heavy items
The Pay:
- PAYE
- Β£ Β£ per hour dependent on assignment
- 28 days holiday accrued per year
