Were Hiring Class 1 Drivers!

Backline is expanding, and we\’re looking for experienced and reliable Class 1 (Category CE) drivers to join our growing team. Whether youre looking for full-time, part-time, or flexible shifts we have something for you!

Days | Nights | Permanent positions | Temp to Perm

Competitive Pay | Overtime Available | Immediate Starts | Training

We have work in various locations including Exeter, Cullompton, Okehampton, Crediton, Honiton and more.

Guaranteed weekly salary for the right person (Up to 38K for a multi skilled person)

  • Multi-Drop / General Haulage
  • Container Work
  • Weekend-Only Shifts
  • Skip, RoRo, Dust
  • Plant
  • Specialist Roles

    • Requirements

  • Valid Class 1 (Category CE) Driving Licence
  • Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Minimum 6 months HGV driving experience (preferred, not essential)
  • Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety practices.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
  • Good knowledge of UK road networks
  • A professional and positive attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Own transport to travel to work
  • Complete training as required
