Backhouse Jones is seeking a talented Solicitor (Newly Qualified up to 5 years PQE) to join our busy and highly regarded Employment Team at our Clitheroe office. Backhouse Jones is a market-leading law firm specialising in transport law, advising businesses across the bus, coach and haulage sectors throughout the UK. Our employment team plays a key role in supporting clients with practical and commercially focused employment law advice tailored to the transport industry.

Location: Clitheroe

Salary: Competitive salary, commensurate with experience

The Role

You will work closely with experienced directors and senior lawyers, advising transport operators and businesses on a broad range of employment law issues, including:

  • Disciplinary and grievance matters
  • Drafting employment contracts, policies and procedures
  • Tribunal claims and litigation
  • TUPE and business restructuring matters
  • Supporting clients with compliance and HR best practice

About You
