Working Hours: 38 Hours per week, Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:00 and Friday 07:30 to 12:50 / No shift or weekend working
Heatrod Elements Ltd are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team working at our site in Farnworth, Bolton. Start date would be immediate and the role will be permanent.
Based in Farnworth, Bolton we are the leading manufacturer of heating elements and associated process heating equipment that is required in domestic and industrial applications.
About the Role:
The role will be varied across the warehouse function, supporting despatch, stock control, receiving orders, picking and packing of orders. This busy role requires concentration, motivation and energy; everybody works under pressure to achieve our deadlines. It will involve teamwork within the warehouse and wider production team, so you need to have good communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pack and pick orders for shipment
- Follow company guidelines regarding packaging with high attention to detail
- Performing warehouse operations in accordance with time, quality and quantity targets
- Use of materials, including hand tools / label printers
- Quality control of packaged items, ensuring it meets company standards for customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean work area
