Salary: Starting at £25,114.96 per annum

Job Type: Full time, Temporary (initially 6 month contract)

Working Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:00 and Friday 07:30 to 12:50 / No shift or weekend working

Backer Heatrod are looking for a Temporary Warehouse Operative to join our team working at our site in Farnworth, Bolton. Start date would be immediate. Based in Farnworth, Bolton we are the leading manufacturer of heating elements and associated process heating equipment that's required in domestic and industrial applications.

About the Role: The role will be varied across the warehouse function, supporting despatch, stock control, receiving orders, picking and packing of orders. This busy role requires concentration, motivation and energy; everybody works under pressure to achieve our deadlines. It will involve teamwork within the warehouse and wider production team, so you need to have good communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Goods in and putting stock away
  • Picking kits to issue to production
  • Receiving finished goods to stock and to send to the customer
  • Stock checking as required
  • Help to keep the kanban system updated
