As a Global Alliance Manager, you are the catalyst for accelerating Backbase’s growth through strategic Advisory Firms and Global System Integrators (GSIs). You act as a strategic overlay, working on top of regional partner manager resources to build, incubate, and scale high-impact relationships within your portfolio. Your primary focus will be on high-potential markets (e.g., US), where you will drive the development of a Partner-led Pipeline. You are responsible for bridging the gap between global strategy and regional execution, ensuring that Backbase is positioned as the platform of choice within the complex ecosystems of major advisory and consulting firms. You combine strong commercial acumen with deep relationship-building skills to help partners and customers succeed.
Responsibilities

- Strategic Overlay: Act as a central coordination point, working with and through Regional Partner Managers to execute global strategies at a local level. You ensure alignment between the Global Alliance strategy and regional sales goals.
- Pipeline Generation: Drive accountability for Partner-led Pipeline generation. You identify joint value propositions and commercial opportunities that convert into license deals.
- Stakeholder Management: Build rapport and trust with senior stakeholders (Partners, Managing Directors) within the Advisory/GSI firms, effectively navigating their complex matrix organizations.
- Market Focus: Prioritize efforts in high-potential markets (specifically the US/North America), ensuring the partner ecosystem is optimized to capture market share in these regions.
- Enablement & Evangelism: Evangelize the Backbase value proposition within the partner organizations, ensuring their teams understand how to position and sell Backbase solutions.
- Commercial Execution: Support complex deal cycles where your partners are involved, providing the commercial nuance and relationship leverage needed to close.
