As a Trainee Service Centre Analyst, you will be part of the Service Centre team, acting as the first point of contact for technology support. You will provide high-quality assistance to internal employees and external users, supporting enterprise grade systems and applications while developing your technical and customer service skills on the job.
The role involves shift work between 7:30am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, with some work outside normal business hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving and handling email, telephone, and walk-up support requests from internal and external customers
- Prioritising, diagnosing, and resolving incidents in line with agreed procedures
- Fulfilling service requests using documented processes
- Performing security administration tasks, including access provisioning
- Completing daily IT checks
- Building and configuring laptops and desktop workstations
- Supporting desk moves and office technology changes
- Writing and updating troubleshooting documentation and “how-to” guides
- Liaising with third-party suppliers where required
- Providing additional support as requested by the Service Centre & Delivery Manager
Desirable technical knowledge:
- Apple iOS devices
- Information security concepts and risks
