Marking rates of £15-£30 per assignment depending on level.

Hourly rate of £15 per hour for attendance at standardisation meetings.

Position Overview

As a freelance marker, you will be responsible for assessing CIPD and CMI assignments across our apprenticeship, bootcamp, and private training provisions. You will work closely with several departments to ensure learners receive high-quality feedback that supports their progression throughout their programmes.

Responsibilities

  • To support the Leep Talent’s mission, vision, values, and strategic objectives.
  • To implement Leep Talent’s Equality and Diversity policies.
  • To take responsibility for one’s own professional development and participate in relevant internal and external activities.
  • To implement the Leep Talent’s health and safety policies and practices.
  • To contribute to Leep Talent’s commitment to continuous improvement as identified in JITs quality assurance systems.
  • To be committed to Leep Talent’s safeguarding procedures and high priority to be given to the safeguarding of learners.

Role Responsibilities

  • Assignment marking / providing feedback on submissions.
  • Responding to emails from learners directly relating to assignment feedback.
  • Completing appropriate marking administration/trackers.
  • Adhering to Awarding Body requirements.
  • Adhering to all Leep Talent’s processes and procedures.
  • Attendance at standardisation meetings.

Candidate Requirements

Essential Skills

  • Experience of marking CIPD assignments.
  • A qualification in the subject (at least level 5 if marking 3&5 / level 7 if marking level 7).
  • Experience in Management, Human Resource Management, Learning and Development, Training, Education or Coaching.
  • Ability to use Microsoft packages.
  • Assessor qualification.

Desirable Skills

  • CIPD/CMI qualification.
  • An active CIPD membership at an appropriate level.
  • Teaching qualification or working towards.
