An IT support company is seeking a Junior Incident Response Analyst. It is expected that the employee will develop essential skills and contribute to protecting their digital infrastructure. As a Junior Incident Response Analyst, you’ll work closely with their IT and cybersecurity team to safeguard their systems, monitor for vulnerabilities, and respond to security incidents. KEY DUTIES
- Help monitor network activity to spot unusual behaviour, potential threats, or weaknesses
- Support the identification and reporting of security risks, and assist in resolving them
- Learn and assist with responding to security incidents, following established procedures
- Carry out basic system checks and support regular security audits to keep systems protected
- Assist with managing user accounts, access permissions, and login security
- Support the development and updating of security policies and best practices
- Work with the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues as they arise
