Job Description

Experian Global Security Office is looking for a Senior Security Partner to embody and enact the practical daily requirements of the Experian Global Information Security Program by serving as an advisor to the region\’s functional leaders. You will engage with members of the region\’s senior leadership team(s) to advise on the intersection of priorities and important security risks.

You will promote security to the region, but more importantly, act as the voice of the BU with Experian\’s Global Security Office (EGSO). You will build an ongoing partnership with key departments to deploy technologies in a secure manner, mitigate risks across projects and programmes, and provide strategic support to the EMAP RISO.

Whilst you will be a sole contributor you will mentor others in this position. This is a Hybrid, London-based role reporting to the Regional Head of Information Security, EMEA & APAC, RISO.

Important Responsibilities

  • Foster trusted executive relationships while dealing with members of the region\’s management team. Participate in the project planning process to ensure appropriate levels of security oversight exist.
  • Advocate for the region by sharing its specific threats, requirements, and insights with the EGSO Leadership and other SPs.
  • Support BU-level strategic decision‑making, product development, system implementations, and change management associated with the use of new security processes.
  • Monitor information security trends internal and external to the business and keep leadership informed about security‑related incidents (Threat Informed Defense Approach).
  • Measure and communicate risk to BU leadership concerning BU‑specific goals, projects, and changes (people, process, technology).
  • Translate how department‑specific risks factor into firm‑wide risks at senior level, e.g., Leadership Security Forum (LSF).
  • Work with EGSO governance functions to educate BU leadership on prospective changes to relevant mandates, laws, and regulations, uncovering any gaps that may exist.
  • Determine department‑specific requirements that may arise due to geography, region, data, or vertical and how those differ from or overlap with firm‑wide mandates.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the information security field, including audit, M&A divestment project security assessments, and leading regional security forums with a multi‑market focus.
  • IT background with experience working with cloud‑based environments, security technologies (WAF, encryption, access control) and vulnerability management.
  • Experience presenting to a range of audiences, including complex data presentations with senior partners and C‑Suite.
  • Experience interpreting and monitoring security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry and region‑specific mandates, laws, and regulations.
  • Experience researching and providing the right guidance and finding possible solutions to complex security issues, communicating these issues and managing partner expectations.
  • Relevant certifications such as:
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
    • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
    • Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP)
    • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
    • Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
    • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)

Benefits Package Includes

  • Great compensation package and discretionary bonus plan
  • Core benefits include pension, Bupa healthcare, Sharesave scheme and more
  • 25 days annual leave with 8 bank holidays and 3 volunteering days. You can purchase additional annual leave.
