The role
As a Digital Marketing Executive, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of digital marketing activities. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of design skills, content creation abilities, and a passion for analytics. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance the brand visibility, drive engagement, and contribute to the company’s growth.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for website updates using the CMS platform.
  • Plan and execute organic and paid social media campaigns across LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Use Mailchimp to create email campaigns and provide analysis.
  • Create content using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Assist in analysing the performance of marketing initiatives across different channels using Google Analytics and other relevant analytics tools.
  • Support the Marketing Manager in coordinating and executing various promotional activities and events.
  • Maintain a well-organised marketing content calendar to ensure the timely delivery of marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Monitor and take ownership of marketing email inbox.

The Candidate

  • Proficiency in Webflow or other website CMS platforms (or a willingness to learn).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO.
  • Experience in a marketing role.
  • Some experience or understanding of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Moz).
  • Experience with email marketing platforms, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (or other creative suites), and a basic understanding of CRM systems and how they integrate with marketing strategies.
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret marketing data and provide actionable insights.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach, a creative thinker with the ability to generate fresh ideas and innovative campaigns.
  • Highly organised, with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • A team player with strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Passion for digital marketing and a drive to stay updated on industry trends.

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous experience in the insurance or the social care sector is beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience with Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or other digital advertising platforms.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI principles to enhance website and campaign performance.
  • Previous involvement in CRM implementation or marketing automation projects.

Salary And Benefits

  • £30k-£34k per annum (DoE) plus commission.
  • Office based position (Hove) in the first 6 months in order to complete ongoing training and development. After this, successful candidates may be able to work from home for part of the week. Currently this is 60/40 with 60% office and 40% home for the team. Core days are Tuesday & Thursday with an additional day as per business needs.
  • Full-time 9am-5pm Monday – Friday.
  • 28 days (inclusive of Bank Holidays) per year, rising to 33 days (inclusive of Bank Holidays) after two years service.
  • Pension 3% Employer contribution (after qualifying period).
  • Benefits programme which enables employees to annually claim for dental and optical plus additional benefits (after qualifying period).
  • Private medical insurance offered to all employees and dependents after two years service.
