We're recruiting for Catering Assistant to earn up to £13.50 per hour. You will be supporting with food preparation, meal service, cleaning duties, and customer service while maintaining high food hygiene standards.

Catering Assistant role:
- Assist with basic food preparation, such as washing, peeling, chopping, and assembling ingredients
- Help prepare and serve meals in line with menu specifications and portion guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining areas, and food service equipment
- Wash dishes, utensils, and catering equipment using commercial dishwashers or by hand
- Follow strict food hygiene and health & safety regulations (HACCP standards)
- Store food items correctly, ensuring stock rotation (FIFO method)
- Assist with setting up and clearing down dining areas before and after service

- Provide friendly and efficient customer service to guests, students, or staff
- Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or shortages to the supervisor
Catering Assistant pay:
£12.71 – £13.50 per hour.
