Our client is a small WordPress plugin business with plugins in four main areas (HR, book publishing, genealogy and event management).

They are bursting with ideas to develop these further and are looking for an apprentice to join them on the journey at their office in Gateshead.
KEY DUTIES
* Assisting with plugin development projects, including writing your own plugins to add new features to their core products.
* Checking for and fixing bugs.
* Testing new code.
* Preparing documentation for plugins.
* Assist with mobile App design
* Customer support – assisting clients with bug fixes, set up issues etc.
* Website development and general maintenance (managing our own sites and assisting with client sites) e.g. To fix plugin installation issues, update plugins, themes etc. and upload content.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
* Independent skills
* Passionate about software development
* Good written and oral communication skills
* Self-Motivated
