Warehouse Operative pay: £12.21 per hour.

Warehouse Operative role:

  • Picking and packing customers orders
  • Working in ambient and chilled environments (0 - 5 degrees)
  • Personal Shoppers would be expected to pick over 400 items an hour depending on the work area
  • The work is physical and will involve lots of walking (on average 20km) from station to station up and down stairs over 10 hour shifts
  • De-kitting dollies to generate empty totes for bagging and frameload
  • Loading totes of shopping up to 17.5kg onto frames 350 times an hour
  • Manually transferring loaded dollies onto trailers and vans
  • De-kitting dollies and moving them around the site using Mechanical Handling Equipment
  • Despatch is a physically demanding role working in a chilled environment (0 - 5 degrees) over a 10 hour shift
  • The role does involve a lot of repetitive heavy lifting and manual handling
  • Receiving and decanting goods from suppliers into totes
  • Working in ambient and chilled (0 - 5 degrees) environment and freezer (-24 degrees)
  • Personal Shoppers would be expected to decant items an hour (depending on work area)
  • The work is physical and will involve long periods of standing and moving from station to station
  • The role does involve lots of lifting and manual handling
