We are looking for a HR Assistant to support the HR department in providing a pro‑active and forward‑thinking HR service to the Group Companies, including responsibility for specific tasks and projects within the Department. All tasks must comply with strict confidentiality of data and respect for GDPR legislation.
Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
- HR Administration: Office administration duties including telephone contact and enquiry handling, correspondence and communications, changes to terms and conditions.
- Occupational Health: Monitor expiries to ensure compliance, schedule and follow up on appointments.
- Support HRIS Lead with any updates and administrative changes.
- Support L&D Advisor with training and Early Careers coordination.
- Recruitment: Screening and tracking candidates, booking and managing the interviews process, assisting managers to draft job descriptions.
- Manage starters and leavers, including onboarding system updates, accurate HR records, and coordination with Payroll and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with legislation on ensuring all employees have the right to work in the UK and helping obtain the necessary work permits/Visa's as required.
- Security Vetting: Assisting the project teams with vetting applications for employees and workers.
- Any other reasonable tasks and project work as required.
Knowledge, Experience And Qualifications Required:
- Previous Administration and Data Entry experience.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly establish and maintain strong relationships across all levels.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills to help ensure the delivery of a fast‑paced HR service.
- Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel.
- To be resilient with a positive and confident approach.
- HR Administration or Recruitment experience (Desirable).
