About You
We’re seeking a results‑focused, innovative, self‑driven, and well‑qualified individual to join our talented team as our Site Planner – Adhesives. In this role, you will develop and execute site‑level production plans within a 0–3 month horizon by translating demand signals and run‑rate assumptions into actionable production schedules that align supply with demand, balancing capacity, material availability, and inventory, minimizing costs and inventory risk exposure, and ensuring plan feasibility through effective use of MRP and ERP system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive short‑term production alignment and execution by leading the regional S&OP processes, aligning cross‑functional stakeholders to validate plan feasibility within the fixed horizon, prioritizing orders, and determining trade‑offs across demand, capacity, and material constraints to ensure executable plans and defined recovery actions.
- Maintain a stable and executable site supply plan by aligning demand, inventory targets, and production capacity across a rolling 0–3 month horizon, integrating cross‑functional inputs, and ensuring production schedules remain stable, feasible, and responsive to demand variability while supporting service and inventory performance.
- Make data‑driven planning decisions within the 0–3 month horizon by evaluating data, constraints, and variability, determining appropriate planning actions, and adjusting supply plans to maintain feasible execution while managing service, inventory, and capacity trade‑offs.
- Balance supply, inventory, and service trade‑offs to minimize cost and risk exposure by analyzing demand trends, inventory levels, and production constraints, determining planning actions that reduce excess, aging, and obsolescence while protecting service levels and working capital performance.
- Translate supply plans into executable production schedules by balancing short‑term supply and demand within a 5–10 day horizon, validating feasibility against capacity and material constraints, and converting plans into work orders in ERP (JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1)) to support manufacturing execution.
- Communicate supply availability and constraints to the organization by providing clear, timely updates on order fulfillment status for external Sales Orders (SO) and internal Order Tickets (OT), including risks, root causes, and expected recovery timelines to enable proactive decision‑making.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years in supply planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations environment with analytical planning experience.
- BA/BS in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field, or equivalency preferred.
- Strong ERP proficiency, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) preferred, with advanced Excel data analysis capability.
- Strong understanding of MRP, inventory modeling, and demand variability, with ability to translate insights into actions.
- Ability to evaluate trade‑offs across demand, capacity, inventory, and service levels in a dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational capability to drive alignment across Production, Quality, Customer Service, and Engineering.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies preferred.
