We’re seeking a results-focused, innovative, self-driven, and well-qualified individual to join our talented team as a Product Management Intern. In this role, you will work with the Product Management team in support of New Product Introduction and Product Lifecycle efforts. The position will involve learning about product launch execution, data collection and integrity, technical documentation, product financial performance, portfolio management, and lifecycle strategies. The position will also assist with process improvements to existing procedures and workflows, as well as with automation opportunities or solutions.
Additionally, you will:
- Collect and analyze data to determine sales performance of products.
- Make recommendations on next steps in lifecycle to product management; create and coordinate communications based on decisions.
- Assist with the review and creation of technical documentation across all aspects of product lifecycle; launch training, technical bulletins, product data sheets, marketing materials.
- Gain knowledge of product testing requirements and methods and help coordinate testing needs with product managers.
- Review workflows on current routing forms and identify areas of improvement and efficiency.
- Research and propose potential opportunities for automation of workflows.
- Learn about product coding and reporting out of JD Edwards to review and confirm data integrity across product lines and families.
Projects participated in will require a presentation on results to a designated audience as they are completed.
You should:
- Be a rising sophomore or higher working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent job-related work experience.
- Self-motivation to work in concert with team members to meet deliverables on time.
