The Opportunity

We are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a talented PR Senior Account Manager to join our travel division, working across a portfolio of luxury travel clients. This fast-paced role involves managing client accounts, building strong client relationships, securing standout media coverage, and overseeing the delivery of day-to-day PR activities. You will also be responsible for guiding and supporting junior team members to ensure the smooth running of accounts.

  • Strong network of travel and lifestyle media contacts; ability to pitch and secure quality coverage
  • Confident in managing client communications, expectations, and strategic planning
  • Able to oversee day-to-day running of accounts, manage timelines, and deliver results against client KPIs
  • Experience guiding and supporting junior team members; ability to delegate effectively and mentor others
  • Excellent writing skills for press releases, pitches, reports, and social media content
  • Extensive knowledge of the travel sector
  • Experience working in a fast-paced communications agency in a travel PR role
  • Strong knowledge of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within the luxury travel and lifestyle industry is essential for this role

Key Responsibilities

  • Public Relations & Influencer Relations
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier press and influencers through regular communication and meetings
    • Identify media and influencer opportunities aligned with client goals
    • Manage and update media and influencer databases for accuracy
    • Meet monthly KPIs for journalist, influencer, and industry contact meetings
    • Write high-quality press releases, pitches, strategies, and proposals with strong attention to detail
    • Research upcoming media features and identify trends and creative angles
    • Maintain a personal network across relevant industries
  • Client Management & Relations
    • Develop and maintain excellent client relationships and provide strategic counsel
    • Support Associate Director/Junior Account Director in preparing meeting materials and reports
    • Ensure timely and polished client reporting and communications
    • Act as day-to-day client contact and lead client meetings with support
    • Manage client projects and campaigns, meeting KPIs and budget goals
    • Execute account strategy effectively and resolve issues proactively
  • Team Management
    • Monitor and support team performance, ensuring deadlines are met
    • Lead team meetings and assist in task delegation and team motivation
    • Provide feedback to the Associate Director and support team skill development
  • New Business
    • Contribute to research and preparation of new business presentations and pitches
    • Identify new business opportunities and assist in developing strategies to secure leads
    • Support proposal development and pitch presentations
