This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Digital Account Manager to join the Digital division. This is a fast-paced role managing a small team and leading global client accounts. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day client relationships while playing an active, hands-on role in the delivery of digital and social media activity.
The Skills Required
- Proven experience in a hands-on digital or social account management role
- In-depth knowledge of various digital marketing channels such as organic social media, paid social, SEO, SEM, email marketing, and content marketing
- Experience in building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts
- A high level of attention to detail
- Experience in team management
- Strong copywriting and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
Client Relations & Account Management
- Develop and maintain strong, trusted client relationships at all times
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and communication
- Liaise between clients and internal creative teams to define briefs and ensure clear objectives
- Manage client budgets and ensure work is delivered within the agreed scope
- Own timelines and ensure all client deadlines are met
- Proactively identify opportunities to add value to client accounts
- Research forthcoming events, trends and online conversations relevant to client brands
- Create and maintain social media content calendars aligned to agreed strategies
- Write and adapt copy across multiple platforms, tailoring tone of voice to each brand
- Deliver excellence in content creation, creativity and community management
- Manage daily social community engagement, moderation and optimisation
- Support the planning and implementation of digital and social strategies
- Work directly on content execution while guiding and supporting junior team members
- Create or contribute to detailed reports outlining social and digital activity
- Analyse performance against KPIs and objectives
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimise future activity
- Support client reviews with clear, confident performance commentary
Team Management
- Manage and mentor junior members of the team, supporting their development and performance
- Communicate effectively and transparently with your Account Director
- Meet regularly with your Account Director to assist in planning strategy, discuss opportunities, and relay achievements and raise any team/client issues
- Ensure members of your team meet company and client deadlines
- Review work to ensure quality, accuracy and strategic alignment
- Effectively delegate appropriate tasks to junior team members
- Motivate and empower your team and demonstrate initial leadership skills
- Collaborate closely with creative, strategy and production teams
24 days holiday plus UK bank holidays, plus Christmas office shutdown and one additional day's holiday entitlement per year served, capped at five days. 10% commission on any fees introduced to the company. Discretionary bonus scheme dependent on meeting annual team targets. Global team events, including a summer and Christmas social. Monthly team socials and lunches.
