Job Summary
Temporary contract opportunity to back-fill into the existing team covering predominantly Loans Administration but also Treasury Settlements activities. Focused on all loan product types including not limited to real estate, syndicated/participation, and their associated activities. In addition, ensures all Treasury and Lending transactions made by the Bank are recorded and administered in accordance with relevant documentation and within specified timeframes. Monitoring of all Treasury and Lending business against regulatory requirements and to administer financial reports detailing activity.
Key Work Outputs and Accountabilities
- Ensuring all processes and procedures are accurately followed.
- Processing and reconciling all Loan book actions as appropriate.
- Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of complex Treasury transactions such as Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Currency Option Linked Deposits, Fixed Income, Reverse REPO, Futures and FX OTC Options.
- Agrees currency positions followed by intra-day cash management of all Nostro balances ensuring that all payment and reconciliation data is accurate, complete, and maintained within the agreed parameters.
- Ensuring that all dealing activity is within regulatory and Bank limitations and that management information reports are accurate, complete, and timely.
- Performs Nostro reconciliation process and provides other areas of the bank with outstanding/unmatched information relevant to them.
- Monitors Swift and non-Swift unmatched confirmations and follows up with relevant counterparties.
- Ensures the integrity of banking system data and resolves any related queries.
- Prepares brokerage payments and ensures that all counterparties understand all relative instructions and guidelines.
- Executes other ad hoc clerical duties such as reporting, archiving, distribution and filing as and when required.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Prior experience of end to end Loan Administration and Operations, especially from a small/international banking perspective is particularly desirable.
- Knowledge of SWIFT.
- Desirable - Clearstream / Euroclear / Bloomberg type applications.
- Understands the role of Loan Admin & Treasury Settlements.
- High level of numeracy and literacy.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of banking systems and workflow platforms.
- Specific experience of Temenos T24 LD + AA modules would be preferred.
- Good communication skills and working to deadlines.
