Job Summary
An experienced T24 Developer who supports the Head of Development and Application Delivery Director to develop and facilitate the effective use of the Bank’s IT services to ensure business needs are optimised.
Proactively works to improve develop and support the IT applications, including the delivery of services, which fit our target architecture, as well as identifying, resolving and future mitigation of any related issues.
Key Work Outputs and Accountabilities
- Development, maintenance, documentation and configuration of our Temenos T24 Core Banking Platform
- Development, maintenance, documentation and configuration of TraceFinancial Transact Tool
- Provide 3rd level support to T24 and surrounding and interfaces within agreed SLA’s where required.
- In the event of service interruptions and IT incidents, work with the Business Systems and Operations Director, the applications support staff and vendors to remediate and resolve all issues, promptly and safely.
- Manage interactions with the service owners to enhance the service provision, through the delivery of enhancements, bug fixes and upgrades, which is in line with bank policy.
- Work with bank management team and the IT management team to introduce, where merited new applications system and or services for deployment into our architecture.
- Assist the Test team with queries during the Testing processes
- Identify and solve routine and sometimes complex problems; exercising judgment to select appropriate solutions based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Considerable experience configuring and developing within T24 [Especially R16 or Higher]
- Experience using Apache Camel and Java
- Experience using Transformer Toolkit beneficial
- Design Studio and Jenkins source code repository experience beneficial
- Technical understanding of the T24 Architecture and components
- Technical understanding of the interfaces into and out of T24
- Experience of developing IT solutions in the Bank Trade Services sector beneficial
- Experience and knowledge of core banking applications
- Experience of IT infrastructure required to support our banking applications
- Experience of software development lifecycle
- Hands-on technical knowledge in the Microsoft development toolset
- High level of accuracy with attention to detail
- Self-motivated with good communication skills
