YOUR OPPORTUNITY
As a member of Bacardi’s Technology Leadership Team and reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the Senior Director, Systems Architecture is responsible for the delivery of all enterprise applications solutions, including SAP and related third party enterprise applications. This position leads a team of highly effective leaders, cross functional architects and analysts to provide optimal systems through strategic design as well as daily operational support. This Senior Director position is responsible for setting priorities, being the change agent for transformation, and developing high performing teams.
About You
You’re an inclusive, collaborative leader who harnesses technology to deliver exceptional outcomes. You build strong, trusted relationships, create a culture of excitement, and connect Primos globally—beyond hierarchy and titles.
You will have strong business acumen, and subject matter expertise in a diverse set of business functions such as product development, supply chain, warehouse, logistics & transportation, HR, sales/marketing, finance, and other corporate functions. Additionally, you will be adept in new technologies as well as industry and systems best practices.
ROLE CONTEXT & OBJECTIVES
Bacardi is undergoing a period of prosperity and growth – underpinned by the Best10 strategy – to deliver the best ten years (2020-2030) in our history and to put the consumer at the heart of what we do. Best10 is a transformational strategy that has already delivered several years of accelerated growth and led to a deep regeneration of our “all-in” highly people-centric and engaged culture. There are four key elements to our strategy:
- Place Bold Bets – a focused and dynamic process for allocating resources to develop our brands, markets and capabilities. By focusing on highly strategic brand/market combinations and allocating resources quickly to accelerate the growth within a key number of combinations we aim to deliver 85% of Group revenue from just 65 such brand/market combinations (from a total of over 1,600) and to drive year-on-year profitable growth.
- Re-ignite Marketing – delivering a revitalized consumer connection and journey and elevating our marketing through use of digital marketing, social media, digital platforms and data exploitation.
- Disrupting Future Moments that Matter – using digital technologies to disrupt and innovate – for example in growing the direct-to-consumer channel (historically very small but now accelerating during the pandemic), in reducing the time-to-market of new products, and in levering our brand portfolio to create new sources of revenue.
- Winning in the On-trade – ensuring the on-trade is a strong supporter of our brands – this is key feed-through into retail and online channels – putting the consumer at the heart.
Technology is at the heart of these initiatives and plays a key role in enabling our ability to deliver successfully on our ambitions. At the very heart of this role will be further evolving and developing a culture of community across teams, inclusivity ( ) and innovation within Marketing. Experience in driving commercial and consumer focused technology transformation and for driving innovation through digital technology and the exploitation of data will be key.
The role will be based in London.
