YOUR OPPORTUNITY
Create end-to-end visibility and ownership that markets can rely on, ensuring orders are executed accurately, compliantly, and on time from deployment through shipment and customs documentation. The successful candidate will be a strong people leader, who through their team will ensure consistent delivery of customer commitments while balancing service excellence, cost efficiency and cash performance. With a customer-centric and market-focused mindset, the role strengthens operational reliability, documentation accuracy, and drives continuous improvement. Ultimately building and protecting market and customer trust and enabling exceptional business performance. The role is based in the UK supply centre, located in Glasgow. The supply centre is one of five globally and manages all operational and supply activity for their brands. The supply centre in Glasgow is responsible for managing the Bacardi portfolio of Whisky and Gin brands.

RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE

  • People & Team Management
    Lead and develop Order Deployment and Shipping & Documentation team. Provide clear direction and strong leadership, fostering a high-performance culture. Set objectives, manage performance and attendance, and deliver coaching and development plan, building capability and engagement. Build skills flexibility to ensure operational coverage and resilience, across a 24/6 operational environment. Foster a customer-focused, accountable, and collaborative team culture, for serving markets to deliver optimised service to customers and consumers. Maintain team engagement, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement, encourage a proactive mentality.
  • Order Deployment, Shipping & Customs Documentation
    Oversee end to end order-to-ship execution, ensuring visibility, prioritisation, and timely issue resolution. Ensure market requirements are delivered accurately and on time, balancing service, cost, and cash outcomes. Own governance of end to end order to ship execution SOPs, ensure clarity, requirements and training through well-defined and maintained in SOPs. Set and monitor standards for customer, market, and logistics communications. Coordinate with the rest of Planning & Logistics team, and 4PL partner to align deployment and despatch with supply plans and market priorities. Ensure robust controls across order receipt, shipment planning, PGI execution and documents issuance, and physical alignment between physical shipments and system records. Ensure quality & compliance outcome on the creation and issuance of all documentation, timely, accurate, compliant internally and externally. Collaborate with Customs & Excise and IT teams to manage documentation, regulatory, and system changes, ensuring impacts are clearly defined and trained across the team. Create and manage POs and related invoices, in line with budget and finance controls. Identify, manage, and escalate supply and execution risks.
  • Service Performance, KPIs & SLAs
    Oversee service metrics including OTIF and OFR, ensuring quality standards are maintained, taking appropriate action if required. Maintain SLA documentation in line with Bacardi BOS standards. Review KPIs to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. Communicate performance clearly to internal stakeholders.
  • Cost, Cash & Stock Management
    Monitor shipment execution and stock deployment to support Cash Conversation Cycle and working capital and budget targets. Manage cost control within agreed budgets, ensuring variances are identified, understood, and addressed. Ensure operational decisions balance service, cost efficiency, and cash impact. Support cost optimisation initiatives across logistics, stock management on transfers, part pallets and slow-rotation stock and order deployment.
  • Continuous Improvement & Projects
    Lead continuous improvement and project initiatives across Order Deployment, Logistics, and Documentation to improve reliability, accuracy, customer service, and operational efficiency. Drive adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working, embedding standardisation, compliance, best practice, and a strong continuous-improvement mindset, including disciplined root cause analysis and closure of corrective actions. Deliver measurable business outcomes, ensuring improvement and new projects are well planned, resourced, and executed with clear service, cost, and efficiency benefits.

SKILLS
Strong team leadership and people management, with the ability to develop, coach, and motivate high-performing teams. Deep customer service orientation, delivering reliable outcomes to markets for customers and consumers. Knowledge of order deployment, logistics execution, shipping, and customs documentation.
