As the HR Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR function, ensuring smooth execution of core HR processes, employee onboarding, internal communications, ER support and coordination of HR activity.

This role acts as a key liaison between employees, HR systems, and leadership, serving as the first point of contact for HR enquiries, contributing to a positive employee experience and operational excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES – WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE

  • Respond to on-site reward queries and manage basic HR tasks.
  • Administer changes via ADP, internal platforms (Dewars Connect), and benefit-related updates through the generic HR inbox.
  • Maintain and report on FTE headcount data for workforce planning.
  • Facilitate benefit onboarding for new hires and internal movers.
  • Manage end-to-end job and payroll changes, including ticket raising, letter generation, and payroll updates.
  • Coordinate employee first Day onboarding activities to ensure a smooth employee experience.
  • Create and track training invites for all people programmes via Let’s Learn.
  • Provide ER support for absence reviews and minor investigations.
  • Monitor and report HR KPIs providing accurate data through software such as excel and Power BI dashboards.
  • Ensure GDPR compliance across all HR processes and data handling.
  • Coordinate the Apprentice Programme in collaboration with the programme lead
  • Support Graduate Scholar and Graduate Recruitment initiatives alongside the programme lead
  • Support the ‘Primo Forum’, managing organisation, communications, and project coordination.
  • Lead the coordination of specific HR-related events and initiatives.
  • Lead internal employee communication strategy through development and distribution of the newsletter to keep employees informed, managing content for internal screens and digital displays, updating internal platforms with relevant HR communications, the creation and distribution of the company magazine.

What are the stages of an interview process?

The first step is submitting your application which will be reviewed by our Hiring Team. Should your experience meet the qualifications and expectations of the open role, you will begin the interview process. Generally speaking, you can expect a few stages of conversations. The timing of the interview process will vary and our focus will be on ensuring that the key stakeholders get to know you and that you get to know us. You will be expected to do a face-to-face interview in person or over video call in some cases, at least once, during the hiring process.
Sometimes we do ask candidates for customer facing roles or more junior candidates to complete an automated online video interview. You will self-record answers to our automated questions and this will be reviewed by the Hiring Team.
