BAC Group is seeking to employ qualified VRV HVAC/R Installation & Service Technicians.

The successful candidates must be experienced self-motivated individuals with excellent interpersonal skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, service and maintain Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning (HVAC/R) Systems including Variable Refrigerant (VRV) and Chilled Water Systems.
  • Installation duties to include layout, installation and pressure testing of refrigerant, water and condensation piping, plus control wiring and systems.
  • Train and direct other HVAC/R technicians and apprentices in the installation and servicing of VRV systems.
  • Work to tight deadlines on multiple projects including overtime work when required.
  • Perform engineering and administrative functions as required.
  • Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience as a journeyman HVAC/R technician, installing and servicing split and packaged systems in both residential and commercial buildings.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience installing and servicing Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) HVAC/R systems.
  • Proven experience in setting out, installing and commissioning air conditioning equipment with minimum supervision.
  • Must be able to work successfully with Architects, Engineers, other Contractors and Owners on major projects, alongside our highly motivated staff in a professional manner.
  • Excellent workmanship.
