The need for support in early childhood development has never been more critical. Babyzone is a charity funded by foundations, philanthropists and trusts, including global venture builder Blenheim Chalcot. We serve families who struggle to access support elsewhere—due to financial, geographic, or cultural barriers—by offering free, evidence-based classes and resources in premium, fully accessible community hubs. The Opportunity

As Head of Babyzone Swansea, you will lead the launch and daily operations of this brand-new Babyzone Hub, helping to transform the lives of hundreds of families in the area. You will:

  • Set up and lead a small local team
  • Facilitate the delivery of high-quality early years classes and family engagement activities
  • Build relationships with families, local stakeholders, and funders
  • Ensure the Babyzone offering is safe, consistent and impactful
  • Collaborate with Babyzone Heads across the UK and the central team
  • Connect families to Babyzone's digital resources including Baby Buddy app and WhatsApp communities

This is a leadership role with hands-on delivery elements, perfect for someone passionate about early years and community engagement.

What You'll Need

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a passion for early years development and Babyzone's mission
  • Is an excellent people-person, with empathy and energy
  • Has experience working with families and young children
  • Can manage a small team and juggle a variety of tasks
  • Is based in or near Swansea
  • Ideally, has a background in teaching or early childhood development
  • Is comfortable working with partners from health, social care, and voluntary sectors
  • Enjoys part-time, flexible working that fits around other life commitments

KPIs

  • Build attendance to 100 family visits per delivery day within the first year
  • Build and maintain partnerships with 20 local organisations including NHS teams, local authority, and family support charities

Role Details

  • Salary: Depending on experience
  • Contract: Part-time, Permanent
  • Hours: 2 days per week. This includes 1 delivery day (the day of the week is to be confirmed) and 1 admin day
  • Location: Babyzone Swansea occasional travel to London office or partner Babyzone Hubs
  • Start Date: February 2026
