This role is responsible for managing outbound delivery performance, carrier relationships, freight costs, invoice reconciliation, returns freight, and delivery exception management across multiple regions. As we continue scaling internationally, you’ll play a critical role in building and optimising our carrier network, improving DIFOT (Delivered In Full, On Time) performance, reducing delivery-related customer issues, and driving operational efficiency through strong data analysis and commercial negotiation.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a high-impact function in a fast-growing global fashion business.

You will:

  • Own end-to-end outbound carrier performance across AU, US, and UK markets
  • Manage DIFOT tracking, reporting, and performance improvement initiatives
  • Lead monthly carrier reviews and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with logistics partners
  • Drive corrective action plans for underperforming carriers and service issues
  • Manage carrier rate negotiations, freight costs, surcharges, and commercial agreements
  • Reconcile carrier invoices line-by-line against agreed rate cards and resolve billing discrepancies
  • Evaluate, onboard, and optimise carrier networks as the business expands globally
  • Oversee returns freight performance, costs, and repatriation arrangements across regions
  • Proactively monitor and resolve delivery exceptions before escalation to Customer Service
  • Build and maintain delivery performance dashboards, reporting, and operational visibility tools

You are:

  • Detailed experience in 3PL outbound logistics, carrier management, or delivery operations
  • Proven background managing carrier relationships within eCommerce, retail, or consumer goods environments
  • Proven experience negotiating freight rates and achieving commercial outcomes
  • Have proven experience and interest in technology, automation, and AI, with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Experience operating within multi-carrier and multi-region logistics networks
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills including reporting, invoice audits, and freight cost analysis
  • Detailed analytical mindset with the ability to build reporting and identify trends proactively
  • Hands-on experience with invoice reconciliation and rate card auditing
  • Understanding of international shipping terms including DDP (delivery duty paid), DDU (delivery duty unpaid), and de minimis thresholds
  • Knowledge of major AU, US, and/or EU/UK carrier networks such as DHL, UPS, Veho, Amazon, DPD, Evri etc
  • Proactive, solutions-focused communicator who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and takes ownership of outcomes
