We’re on the lookout for a talented, culturally curious Videographer & Content Creator to join the Dishoom team. This is a role for a visual storyteller, someone who knows how to capture moments that feel real, thoughtful and full of life. From the hum of our cafés and kitchens to menu launches, collaborations and creative campaigns, you’ll help bring Dishoom’s stories to life through video. You’ll work closely with our Social Media, PR and Creative teams to create content that feels warm, crafted and unmistakably Dishoom.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who’s just as happy behind the camera as they are collaborating with others, sharing ideas and shaping stories together.
The RoleYou’ll concept, shoot and edit video content across Dishoom and Permit Room, creating pieces that work beautifully across social, campaigns and wider storytelling moments.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Creating video content for social media, campaigns and storytelling moments — from café life and food to launches, events and collaborations.
- Shooting and editing both short‑ and longer‑form video for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and paid channels.
- Working closely with the Social Media team to spot upcoming content opportunities and bring the content calendar to life.
- Collaborating with Creative, PR and Partnerships teams to translate ideas into engaging, moving‑image stories.
- Maintaining Dishoom’s visual identity across all video — from composition and lighting to pacing and tone.
- Managing post‑production, including editing, basic sound capture and colour grading where needed.
- Keeping a close eye on trends, new formats and platform best practice to keep our content feeling fresh and relevant.
- Organising and archiving video assets so they’re easy to find and ready for future use.
You’re a natural storyteller with a strong visual eye and a feel for capturing moments as they really are, something you’ve been doing for years. You’re tech‑savvy and comfortable filming and editing, curious about culture and food, and excited by the idea of telling stories that connect with people. You enjoy working collaboratively, are comfortable taking creative direction and bringing ideas to the table, and taking pride in crafting content that feels thoughtful and well made.
