WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE CREATIVE, ORGANISED, RESOURCEFUL, SPARKY AND FANTASTICALLY BIG-HEARTED TO JOIN DISHOOM’S CREATIVE TEAM. Brimful of ideas, initiative and enthusiasm, you will be at the heart of how our brand comes alive. From the artwork on café walls to the campaigns that bring guests through our doors, this is a hands-on role and no two days are the same!

You’ll support the delivery of first-class creative across our existing cafés and new openings, working closely with the Senior Brand Manager and Creative Director. One day you might be researching 1950s Bombay typography and perhaps uncovering the intricacies of a heist! The next, you’ll be collaborating with artists and designers and coordinating a cacophony of frames.

You’ll play an instrumental role in carrying out creative research, putting forward fun and interesting ideas, ideating creative concepts and finally, bringing them to life. If you’re energised by variety, thrive on detail, and care deeply about craft, keep reading!

The Brand Executive-walle will work on the following:
  • RESTAURANTS (NEW OPENINGS)
    • Assist the Creative Director and Senior Brand Manager with the creative delivery of new café openings. This includes: Era and concept research, and finding creative threads that give legs to story development.
    • Conceptualise and support channel owners with visual storytelling directions and formats for use across launch campaigns and brand moments around opening.
    • Manage the design roadmap for all new launches. Drafting briefs and coordinating the production of marketing collateral.
    • Support the artwork, dressing and signwriting projects: sourcing, captioning, allocation, approvals, logistics and installation. Ensure each café looks its very best before we open doors to the world.
    • Manage creative snagging actions after handover, working closely with design and operations teams to elevate the final finish.
    • Draft briefs, manage commissions and contracts, and support on final output.
  • RESTAURANTS (EXISTING)
    • Act as the creative go-to for our café and local marketing teams, managing briefs for wall artwork, in-café collateral and signage.
    • Coordinate regular creative reviews to ensure every café always looks tip-top.
    • Support collateral development and production, as needed.
  • CAMPAIGNS AND PROJECTS
    • Support the Senior Brand Manager in delivering first-class and culturally-relevant brand campaigns.
    • Suggest new ideas and creative concepts to ensure all content is brand-enhancing and exciting.
    • Liaise between internal teams and external partners, coordinate timelines, track project progress and chase approvals and deliverables.
    • Act as a careful brand custodian, flagging inconsistencies or opportunities to improve quality.
  • INNOVATION
    • Be in the know with cultural goings-on. And, use that knowledge to conjure up enriching, beautifully connected ideas and experiences in, and out, of our cafés.
    • Proactively identify new and interesting opportunities and formats to create content (from photography and video to blog posts and presentations) both on and offline. Keep us at the forefront of exciting content and brand moments – gathering and collating inspiration for brainstorms. You’re the creative spark who helps keep the ideas flowing.
    • Competitor and market monitoring: Spot early-seed trends and masterfully welcome them into the Dishoom world.
Our ideal Brand Executive-walle:
  • 2+ years experience in a brand, marketing or creative role.
  • Super organised – juggling multiple plates (projects) is your bread and butter – you can deal with multiple stakeholders and projects at the same time.
  • A master time manager – understanding project priorities and scheduling them accordingly.
  • Driven, proactive, a problem solver – blockers don’t put you off getting the job done. You creatively think around problems to get the best outcome.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator across all levels of the business.
  • Knowledgeable and comfortable with all aspects of the creative process and output.
  • An out-of-the-box idea generator – you get as excited about brainstorming creative concepts as you do about executing them.
