We’re looking for friendly, attentive and organised people to join us as a Host.

What to Expect

  • Free team meals every shift, plus all the Chai you can drink!
  • £16 - £16.15 per hour inclusive of tronc (based on 3‑month average). Paid monthly.
  • Full‑time role with 5 days per week, Monday–Sunday availability required.
  • Weekly rotating schedule provided at least 6 days in advance.
  • All‑day dining Café – daytime and evening shifts (not always late nights).
  • Award‑winning training programmes and support.
  • Paid holiday at usual rate. Sites closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Extra day for children on first school day.
  • No uniforms – smart casual and comfortable. Trainers are fine.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests day or night with a smile that makes them instantly feel welcomed.
  • Transport guests to the Permit Rooms of Bombay with knowledge of drinks, bar snacks, curries, sharing plates and well‑loved Dishoom dishes.
  • Ensure clear communication to guests and team, ensuring special requirements are taken care of.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Host in a high‑volume restaurant or bar environment, following detailed steps of service and using guest management systems.
  • Desire to grow – promotion to Head and Deputy Host from within; manager programme available.
