The predicted salary is between 26204 - 33902 £ per year.
Potential earnings of up to £40,902 (inclusive of allowances) per annum, plus excellent benefits.
Salary: £26,204 to £33,902 per annum, dependent on experience.
Plus:
- £4,000 Recruitment and Retention Allowance (permanent and pensionable)
- £3,000 On-Call Allowance
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering Team. Working as part of a small in-house maintenance team, you will support the delivery of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Engineering Services, carrying out day to day remedial and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks to maintain the Institute's operations and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.
What we are looking for:
- Recognised electrical qualification (e.g. City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding and repairs
- Knowledge of electrical regulations and safe working practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive approach to problem solving
- Full UK driving licence, as travel across the Institute site using Institute vehicles is required as part of the role
- Ability to participate in the on-call rota and attend the Institute within approximately 45 minutes when rostered on call
