Baboodle is the UK's leading circular subscription service for premium baby and family equipment. Instead of buying and binning, our customers rent the pushchairs, carriers, bikes and cots they need, and send them back when their kids outgrow them. We're an authorised, reliable alternative to the second-hand market, FCA-regulated, profitable, and growing fast, with a fleet of over 4,000 items and thousands of subscribers across the UK.

We're on a mission to build the UK's first circular infrastructure for family equipment, spanning both rental and resale, making parenting more affordable and less wasteful, one pram at a time.

We're looking for a Content Creator and Strategist to own Baboodle's video content, paid and organic, end to end. You'll be the person spotting the insight, briefing yourself, filming it, editing it, publishing it, and reading the numbers to decide what to do next. No red tape, no handoffs, just space to make the kind of content people actually want to watch, and see it land.

We're open to any level of experience. What matters most is get-up-and-go: curiosity about people and culture, sharp creative instincts, and a genuine hunger to get better every week.

You'll work closely with our founders and our performance marketing team, but the content itself, from the first idea to the finished, published edit, is yours to own.

What you'll do

  • Organic Social
    • Build and own our organic strategy for Instagram and TikTok, using it as a top-of-funnel channel to grow brand awareness for Baboodle and for rental as a category.
    • Plan, script, film, edit and publish organic content spanning the full funnel: top (awareness/reach), middle (consideration/trust) and bottom (conversion).
    • Stay close to platform algorithms and short-form trends, and use that insight to guide our content strategy around upcoming promotions, campaigns and key moments in a parent's journey.
    • Continuously test and refine formats to grow organic reach and engagement.
  • Paid Social
    • Meet regularly with our performance marketing team to review what worked last week and why, and turn that into a plan for what to test next to improve key performance metrics.
    • Own ad creative end to end: strategise, storyboard, film and edit paid video and static ads for Instagram and TikTok (and potentially YouTube).
    • Test hooks, narratives, pacing and formats to unlock performance gains, running two workstreams in parallel: iterating on what's already working, and launching new creative to unlock further growth.
    • Benchmark leading brands and competitors regularly, mining them for ideas, formats and best practice to keep our paid creative fresh and ahead of the curve.
    • Use AI tools to speed up ideation and production, generating visuals, concepts and story variations, and remixing existing footage into new creative.
  • General
    • Work alongside the founders and performance marketing team to plan a joint content calendar spanning organic and paid.
    • Write scripts for both organic and paid content.
    • Read performance data and use it to shape your next idea, not just report on your last one.

This is a role you'll shape and own, not one where you're handed a playbook.

You'll be perfect for this role if:

  • We care far more about mindset than years on a CV. You're likely a great fit if you are:
  • Comfortable scripting, filming and editing content using software such as Capcut.
  • A true self-starter who's happiest building something from the ground up, without a playbook to follow.
  • Creative and analytical, as comfortable coming up with the idea as you are digging into the numbers to see if it worked.
  • Fascinated by why people buy things, and quick to notice trends and formats before everyone else.
  • Genuinely comfortable across the whole content process: strategising, scripting, filming and editing yourself, confident owning a shoot solo, lo-fi or polished.
  • Sharp instincts for what makes someone stop scrolling, keep watching, and convert into a customer.
  • Organised, fast and reliable under pressure, able to juggle multiple projects without creative quality dropping.
  • Excited to work directly alongside founders in a fast-moving, small team, with real ownership from day one.
  • Genuinely interested in the parenting/family space, sustainability, innovation and AI, or DTC subscription businesses.

Whether you've got years of experience or you're earlier in your career, if you've got the drive and the skill set, we want to hear from you.

Nice to have: experience with Meta Ads Manager or TikTok Ads Manager, familiarity with creative analytics tools (e.g. Motion), your own portfolio or channel showing organic growth you've driven.

Why Baboodle

  • 25 days holiday + public holidays.
  • Full ownership of a core, highly visible function from day one, working directly with the founders.
  • A growing, profitable business with genuine momentum.
  • A mission you can actually believe in: less landfill, less financial pressure on new parents, better outcomes for families.
  • Hybrid working from our Camberwell warehouse/office (2–3 days/week), with flexibility built in.
  • The chance to build Baboodle's video and social presence largely from scratch and make it your own.
