We are looking for a full-time ice cream production assistant to join our team in the lab at Baboo Gelato HQ (DT2 0HS, between Crewkerne and Dorchester, Dorset). You will learn everything about making ice cream from start to finish. Jobs include prepping ingredients, assisting with the making of the ice cream, and keeping the kitchen, utensils, and machinery clean. You will also help the team with packaging and working with stock, making this an exciting and varied position!
Knowledge of making ice cream isn’t essential, but some experience working in a kitchen is preferable. Training will be given to receive your Food Safety and Hygiene certificate.
This position is full time (5 days a week Monday to Friday). In the summer months you will still be working 5 days a week, but this will include at least one day of the weekend.
