We’re currently looking for our Account Manager Southern Territory, for a permanent contract position to join our team based at BABOLAT UK in Wimbledon.

Responsibilities

  • Account management of several accounts in our 4 sports (tennis / Padel / Badminton / Pickleball).
  • Identify and manage growth plans and explore all sales revenue opportunities with existing clients.
  • Manage all client’s sales and order related activity within the area.
  • Analyze and report the area’s market size, associated trends and market share of the brand.
  • Manage credit control related to clients within the area.
  • Facilitate in-depth client product training.
  • Identify new sales opportunities within the territory.
  • Identify coach and local grass roots sponsorship opportunities, develop and manage those relationships being in regular contact with the network.
  • Co‑ordinate and attend demo/promotional activations with the sponsored network.
  • Ensure the territory marketing and expenses budgets are adhered to as set by Country Manager.
  • Support the Inside Sales in creating and delivering buying days for the retailer network managed by inside sales.
  • Ensure regular operational documentation is completed and shared to the UK and Ireland Country Manager.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of the racquet industry, in particular tennis and have a strong product knowledge.
  • Ability to play tennis at minimum senior county level would be advantageous.
  • Degree in Business, Marketing or related subject.
  • At least 3 years’ experience required in sales management role.
  • Master IT tools for management (spreadsheets, databases, decision making tools).
  • Master use of an ERP system: SALESFORCE, B2B, ORLIWEB.
  • Inter‑personal skills: Enthusiastic and self‑motivated individual, highly organised, with a proven track record of sales.
  • Good ambassador for racquet sports equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self‑motivated and ability to work positively as part of a small team and from remote (out of office) locations.
