Job Title: Customer Engagement Consultant (Public Sector)
Location: Remote with travel
Salary: Up to £40,000.00+ Generous Commission Scheme
Working days: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours a week)
As a Customer Engagement Consultant, you will develop and grow relationships with new and existing customers, acting as a trusted advisor across Babington’s apprenticeship and commercial training portfolio. Aligned to one of our core market verticals you will drive revenue through a consultative, solution‑based sales approach.
Working closely with the Head of Customer Engagement and internal stakeholders, you will identify opportunities, build strong pipelines, and influence decision‑makers at all levels to deliver against ambitious growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
Build and manage strong, long‑term customer relationships, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor
Retain and grow existing accounts through repeat business and expanded training solutions
Identify, engage and secure new business opportunities within your market vertical
Deliver consultative sales conversations that uncover customer needs and align solutions effectively
Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs
Represent Babington professionally at networking events, meetings and industry forums
Collaborate internally to ensure high‑quality customer experience and successful delivery
