What You'll Do
- Coach and mentor HR apprentices throughout their learning journey, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience all the way to End Point Assessment.
- Conduct detailed skills gap analyses to identify learners' starting points and tailor learning plans.
- Build strong, professional relationships with learners and employers, acting as a trusted point of contact.
- Deliver high‑quality, engaging coaching sessions that bring HR theory and practice to life.
- Set SMART targets and conduct regular progression reviews to ensure timely achievement.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback to support the development of HR knowledge, skills, and behaviours.
- Maintain accurate learner records and ensure compliance with quality and funding requirements.
- Work collaboratively with Specialist Trainers, Performance Coaches, and Delivery Managers to support learner success.
- Promote and embed Safeguarding, Prevent, British Values, Equality & Diversity, and Health & Safety.
- Maintain your own CPD to ensure up‑to‑date HR knowledge and coaching competence.
What We're Looking For
- A strong understanding of HR practice, with the ability to translate theory into real‑world application.
- Experience coaching, mentoring, or supporting learners or colleagues (desirable but not essential).
- Excellent communication, organisation, and digital delivery skills.
- Ability to build rapport, motivate learners, and manage a varied caseload.
- A passion for developing people and supporting them to achieve their goals.
Qualifications
Essential
- Grade A-C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Level 5 CIPD qualification
Desirable
- Level 3 Award in Education & Training (AET) or equivalent
- Level 3 Certificate in Team Leading or equivalent
