Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils are looking for an Administrator (Admin and Technical Support Officer) to join our Public Realm team. If you share our values and you are motivated to make a difference for our residents, clients, and communities, we would love to hear from you.
About the role
This is predominantly a support role for the Operational Teams, answering queries as first point of contact, transferring or signposting the customer to colleagues or external sources where appropriate. This may be by telephone, e-mail or through our workflow software system. You will also be raising requisitions via the finance system and progressing through to payments, speaking with suppliers and other teams when needed as well as other general administration duties.
About you
We are looking for a flexible team player who is organised and able to multi-task and work at pace. Attention to detail will be key and there is a need for experience in using Microsoft Office including the ability to use Word, Outlook and Excel. You will have good communication skills; both written and verbal.
