About the role
Reporting to the Voids Contract Manager, you will deliver a full range of professional surveying services within the Voids Service Area. This is your opportunity to join our new team at inception and to help shape the future of our Housing Repairs and Maintenance Team. In this role, you will:
- ensure statutory and industry best practices
- provide expert technical advice
- offer support and guidance on building-related matters and enquiries, often of a complex or multifaceted nature
- contribute to continuous improvements and help deliver top-quartile performance within the Voids Service
About you
We are looking for a professionally qualified Surveyor, with significant experience to join our dedicated team. Ideally, you will have worked within a responsive repairs service or voids team, as you will be responsible for producing clear, detailed specifications of multi-trade works using schedule of rates and managing the programme of work to completion. You will be confident using IT systems for job management to ensure works are delivered by our Voids Contractor within service level agreements/KPI’s and the allocated budget. You will need to possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable as the point of contact for stakeholders, contractors and customers. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player, with a positive, solution-driven approach. You will need to be someone who puts our residents at the heart of everything you do and will strive to provide excellence of service. If you possess this mindset and are ambitious and driven, we can support your growth and professional development, helping you thrive in this role. A full valid UK driving licence is essential in order to perform the duties of this role.
