About the Role
As a DevOps Engineer, your mission will be to design, operate, and continuously evolve CI/CD platforms and cloud-native infrastructure solutions that support Santander CIB’s digital platforms. You will play a key role in driving automation, reliability, and operational excellence across development teams. You will work closely with developers, SREs, and security teams, contributing to the stability, scalability, and security of critical banking platforms in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for both container-based and legacy applications.
- Deploy, manage, and evolve AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Operate and improve container platforms (EKS, OpenShift), ensuring high availability, scalability, and resiliency.
- Manage certificate lifecycles, secrets rotation, and access control using Vault, AWS KMS, and related services.
- Implement and maintain observability standards, integrating monitoring and logging solutions such as Dynatrace and Amazon CloudWatch.
- Collaborate with development, SRE, and security teams to enhance platform capabilities and DevOps practices.
- Participate in cloud security reviews, firewall rule validation, and connectivity testing.
- Contribute to technical documentation and internal tooling to promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the DevOps community.
Experience
5–10 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering roles. Proven experience in automation, cloud deployments, and platform operations. Professional fluency in English and Spanish.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
