Overview
In this role you help ensure quality governance across Babcock Canada, supporting both customers and suppliers. You will develop QA plans for bids and projects, conduct internal and supplier audits, and maintain QA documentation within the Business Management System. You’ll drive standardization of processes and produce non-conformance reports, contributing to compliance and continuous improvement. The position offers cross-functional collaboration in a mission-driven, security-focused environment with opportunities to influence quality at scale.

Responsibilities
- Provide QA support for the delivery of all business sectors, internally and with suppliers
- Develop QA plans for bids and projects, individually or with project teams
- Conduct internal and external audits (supplier/subcontract) as required
- Review documentation to ensure compliance with QA requirements
- Develop and release new processes, procedures, and forms for the Business Management System
- Maintain and update QA department documents and participate in revision cycles
- Produce Non-Compliance Reports
- Support process transition and standardization
- Perform data mining and develop business dashboards
- Perform other duties as required
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration with emphasis on business management
- CQI/IRCA certification in Managing Quality Planning or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years of experience in developing QA plans for bids and projects
- Minimum 4 years of experience with ISO 9001, 45501, 14001, AS9100 in sectors such as Marine, Aviation or Land
- Internal systems auditor qualification and experience
- Experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI and Power Automate
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-resolution skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to maintain confidentiality
- Experience in administration of business applications
- Eligibility for Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance
