The role The Ship Manager Outfit Delivery will be responsible for the successful delivery of the wholeship outfit scope, encompassing all hotwork/coldwork installation and associated STW activities up to Vessel Acceptance. This role will involve managing the Outfit delivery team, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, quality, safety, and environmental standards. Day-to-day, you’ll support delivery of a wide range of complex through-life marine engineering services, within the following areas: Delivery Strategy: Develop and implement a robust Outfit Delivery strategy, aligning with the overall project plan and budget. Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Quality Assurance: Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and processes throughout the outfitting phase. Schedule and Budget Management: Monitor and control project schedules and budgets, proactively addressing any deviations. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize potential impacts. Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies. HSE Compliance: Prioritize health, safety, and environmental considerations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.This role is full time 37 hours per week is based is based on site at Rosyth. Essential experience of the Ship Manager – Outfit Delivery Significant experience in ship delivery, particularly in outfitting and installation. Proven track record in project management, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.Qualifications for the Ship Manager – Outfit Delivery Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., IFS, SAP) A relevant construction trade qualification as a minimum or a relevant engineering qualification A professional qualification in an engineering discipline. Member of an industry body relevant to experience.Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
