Overview
In this role you lead supplier quality assurance and continuous improvement across Group Procurement and Supply Chain. You will work across complex engineering supply chains to raise standards and reduce risk for mission-critical goods and services. You will audit suppliers, approve documentation, and drive root-cause investigations with corrective actions. The role supports national security and public infrastructure projects in a performance-driven, inclusive environment. Responsibilities
- Audit suppliers on site to verify compliance with contractual and quality requirements
- Approve supplier documentation (e.g., Inspection & Test Plans) and witness control points
- Oversee special process approvals and source releases
- Lead investigations into non-conformance, identify root causes and implement CAPA
- Drive lean and continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to optimise quality, cost, delivery and schedule
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure product conformity and robust assurance throughout the lifecycle
