Shape the future of clean energy on one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects. At Cavendish Nuclear, we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together. If you join us, you can play your part as a Senior Planner at Aztec West, near Bristol, Gloucestershire.

The role:

  • Developing and maintaining detailed construction and installation schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to gather project data and ensure schedule accuracy.
  • Tracking progress, identifying potential delays and recommending actions to maintain programme performance.
  • Supporting risk assessments, scenario planning and change control activities to assess schedule impacts.
  • Preparing schedule performance reports and communicating planning insights to key stakeholders.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and based in Bristol. Flexible working arrangements are available with hybrid working options.

Essential experience of the Senior Planner:

  • Extensive experience using Primavera P6, including advanced planning and scheduling capabilities.
  • Experience within nuclear project planning or similarly complex regulated environments.
  • Demonstrating strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Building effective relationships with stakeholders through excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Understanding project controls disciplines, including schedule, cost and risk integration.

Qualifications for the Senior Planner:

  • Demonstrable planning and scheduling expertise gained within major infrastructure, engineering or nuclear projects.

Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
